Job Overview Under the general supervision of the Maintenance Supervisor; the Store Clerks primary responsibility is maintaining maintenance spare storage area for effective identification of parts. Working closely with MRO/Planner to maintain count accuracy (digital and physical) of the parts inventory.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor daily physical inventory levels of critical components and adjust in accordance with the standardized criteria
- Update CMMS system linking inventory to equipment and ensure accuracy of the information on inventory items in CMMS
- Inform requisitioner when parts are received for non-stock items and distribute
- Create repair material report in CMMS for all parts/components out for repair and arrange for shipment and customs documentation
- Work in compliance with health and safety-related legislation and company’s health and safety program
- Provide an example for others by always performing work in a safe manner; Follow company’s health and safety policy and procedures
- Report all incidents, injuries, illnesses, and near misses and complete thorough investigations to identify corrective actions
Qualifications
- Completion of high school education or Trade School Diploma
- 0-1 years of Maintenance experience or completed Trade School
Working Conditions
- Normal office environment
- Moderate level of exposure to loud noise
- Moderate level of working in area where exposed to heavy equipment/machinery operations or traffic
- Moderate level of paying careful audio or visual attention in order to avoid or detect errors
- Requirement to lift up to 30lbs
