The Opportunity
The Neurofeedback Technician supports the delivery of qEEG assessments and neurofeedback training by preparing clients, conducting sessions, and ensuring accurate data collection in accordance with clinical protocols. This role contributes to high-quality, client-centered care by maintaining safety standards, supporting clinical interpretation processes, and ensuring consistent documentation and professional practice.

Key Responsibilities
Client Care & Session Delivery
Establish rapport and uphold standards of care with a diverse range of clients.
Prepare and orient clients to qEEG collection and neurofeedback training.
Conduct individualized neurofeedback training sessions according to clinical protocols provided by the clinical lead.
Monitor and record client responses and progress during neurofeedback sessions.
Clinical Data Collection & Support
Conduct individualized qEEG assessment data collection for analysis and interpretation by the clinical lead.
Ensure accurate recording of session data to support clinical review and treatment planning.
Equipment, Safety & Professional Standards
Maintain established precautions for safe and hygienic use of equipment, including cleaning, sterilizing, and reporting equipment issues.
Maintain confidentiality, professional ethics, and client relations in accordance with clinic, provincial, and federal standards and guidelines.
Participate in training, ongoing learning, and professional development as required.
Perform other duties as required.
Qualifications
Diploma or certification in a health, neuroscience, psychology, or related field considered an asset.
Experience or familiarity with qEEG, neurofeedback, or brain-based therapies is preferred.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.
High attention to detail with strong data collection and documentation skills.
Ability to follow clinical protocols accurately and consistently.
Understanding of confidentiality, ethics, and professional standards in healthcare.
Comfortable working with technical equipment and clinical software systems.
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple client sessions efficiently.
