Join our team as General Manager! Full Time Opportunity Available The General Manager (GM) is responsible and accountable for the total operation of the Retirement Home. The GM ensures the efficient operation of the Home is carried out in accordance with the company’s mission, vision, values, policies, procedures and all legislative requirements.

The Following Traits And Qualifications Are Required

  • The General Manager must possess a degree or diploma in Business Administration/ Management, Healthcare Management, Hospitality or equivalent experience or successful candidate of the Jarlette Health Services Succession Planning program.
  • A minimum of 2-5 years of relevant experience in a retirement home/ hospitality setting or related setting is preferred.
  • Able to work flexible hours.
  • Experience in progressive leadership roles demonstrating skills in financial management, human resources, labour relations, marketing and department oversight.
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license
  • Effectively demonstrate excellent problem solving and customer service skills.
  • Must demonstrate excellent communication & interpersonal skills
  • Must possess the ability to create long term planning strategies
  • Must be able to function smoothly and effectively amidst competing priorities
  • Must be computer literate
