Your Contribution:
Your main responsibilities

As an Intermediate Environmental Engineer/Professional, you will work in collaboration with the Environment team
Your main responsibilities will be:
- Applying and promoting Englobe’s health and safety policies;
- Coordinating and completing assigned activities with respect to the implementation and management of environmental projects including but not limited to;
-
- Phased Environmental Site Assessments, including completing historical research, site inspections, ground disturbance investigations and soil, groundwater, surface water, sediment, and air quality;
- Drilling and test pit investigations site remediation and tank removal activities;
- Remaining current with the requirements of local, provincial and federal agencies for the assessment and management of contaminated sites;
- Appling knowledge of engineering principles to the completion of complex and difficult projects;
- Compiling, analyzing and evaluating data;
- Writing technical reports and proposals;
- Collaborating with other environmental professionals and technical staff; and
- Developing and maintaining client relationships.
Your Profile:
What makes you unique
- University Degree or College Diploma in Environmental Engineering, Earth Sciences or an environmental related field;
- Minimum 5 years of relevant environmental assessment/field experience/project management;
- Member of PEO and PGO is an asset, but not mandatory;
- Qualified Person (QP) designation is an asset;
- Working knowledge of both provincial and federal environmental regulations;
- Demonstrated oral and written communication skills;
- Strong report writing skills;
- Experience in supervising contractors on the worksite and troubleshooting problems in the field;
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and ability to complete work within established timeframes;
- Focused on the delivery of high quality services to the client;
- Valid driver's license and access to a personal vehicle;
- Willingness and ability to travel throughout Ontario on an occasional basis; and
- Demonstrated sensitivity and consideration for occupational health and safety.
