Position Overview
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Piano Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in piano performance and music theory, with experience teaching students of various ages and skill levels.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Teach and reinforce fundamental piano techniques, music theory, and performance skills. Inspire and motivate students to reach their full potential in a supportive environment. Prepare students for recitals, examinations, and other performances. Communicate progress and goals effectively with students and parents. Assist in music-related activities, including concerts, recitals, and community performances. Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in music education.
Education And/or Work Experience Requirements
Strong knowledge of music theory and training techniques. Must hold a Bachelors Degree or equivalent in Music or RCM Level 10. Professional experience as a piano performer and teacher. Proven experience teaching piano to students of various ages and abilities. Ability to adapt teaching methods to different learning styles.
Able to work independently with limited to no supervision
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Access to a reliable vehicle to get to and from lessons
