About the role
Concord Pacific Developments Corp. is Canada’s largest master-planned community builder. It was formed in 1987 to develop Concord Pacific Place on the former Expo lands in downtown Vancouver, Canada.

We are looking to hire a Manager, Accounting to join our Green Energy team on-site in our Vancouver head office.
Job Duties:
- Lead the preparation and review of financial statements and internal management reports for a portfolio of companies and projects, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards
- Ensure accuracy and integrity of accounting transactions, managing account reconciliations
- Prepare and review year-end audit working papers; act as primary liaison with external auditors to ensure efficient and accurate audit completion
- Manage the preparation of partnership and corporate tax returns in compliance with regulatory requirements
- Develop and monitor annual operating budgets, conducting variance analysis and providing actionable insights to management
- Provide financial reporting, analysis, and strategic recommendations to support senior leadership in decision-making
- Supervise and mentor accounting staff, ensuring adherence to policies, procedures, and internal controls
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and reporting capabilities within the accounting function
- Perform additional duties as required to support financial operations and organizational objectives
Requirements:
- Minimum of 7 years’ experience with at least 3 years in a management position
- CPA Designation is required
- Public Practise experience
- Excellent people skills and strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong leadership and mentor abilities
- Advanced level of Excel skills
- Able to multi-task, work well under pressure and meet deadlines
