Position: Director of Marketing
Report To: Chief Operating Officer
Role: As a Marketing Director you are responsible for developing and implementing the marketing strategy, as well as branding activity. You develop communication strategies with the objective of increasing brand awareness amongst Lammle’s target audience. You will be responsible for planning, building and managing the end-to-end execution of our marketing team. You lead the marketing team to work within their area of expertise while never losing sight of the overall message and how it comes together for the brand.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies designed to increase brand awareness and accomplish key business objectives.
- Direct the creation of brand campaigns from inception through to completion.
- Supervise the execution of in-store marketing initiatives and campaigns to ensure delivery of a consistent brand message.
- Assist with annual budgeting by taking responsibility for monthly forecasting, ongoing billing, and detailed tracking of event expenses.
- Oversee all phases of the marketing team's work, from initial conceptualization to implementation and finalization.
- Create, maintain, and execute analytics reporting across multiple platforms, extracting actionable insights to inform future campaign development and go-to-market strategies, supported by written proposals and recommended tactics.
- Understand and evolve Lammle’s brand positioning and guidelines to uphold a strong emotional connection with customers.
- Evaluate consumer trends and conduct thorough market analysis utilizing recognized marketing best practices.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to guarantee consistent messaging and brand positioning.
- Lead, develop, and hold the marketing team accountable for meeting deadlines and achieving targeted results.
Skills
- Strong data analysis and ability to fine tune strategies based on data
- Content creation and management experience
- Proven track record and understanding of social media and digital marketing
- Creativity, communication and problem solving
- Significant experience in digital marketing channels and strong customer experience orientation.
- Metrics-driven marketing mind and experience in developing marketing strategies with a strong eye for effectiveness for our customer demographic.
- Relationship driven personality with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Background and passion for the Western Lifestyle.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or related field is preferred
- Minimum of 3 years with Shopify experience
- Proven experience as a Marketing Manager or Director in a similar role.
- Proficiency with digital marketing, technology and social media including solid understanding Google Analytics and CRM software
- Strong project management, collaborative team management and decision-making skills
- Retail Apparel experience is strongly preferred
