Description The National Manager, iTero, Labs & Distribution Business Strategy leader for Canada will be a key member of our field sales team will spearhead the development and execution of strategic initiatives specific to the iTero Canadian business, achieving the iTero revenue goals.

As a member of the Canadian Leadership Team (CLT) and collaborating closely with Area and County GMs, sales and marketing leaders, as well as NA, US and global channel specific leaders, this role is instrumental in the development and execution of business strategies for iTero, Lab and Distribution channels that support the overarching Canadian business goals. With each of these three channels in different stages of evolution, the successful candidate will blend a profound understanding of the Canadian dental market with strategic acumen to drive growth and market leadership for the Align portfolio.

Role expectations

  • iTero, Lab and Distribution Strategic Development: Formulate and implement tailored and scalable strategies for the Canadian business, ensuring they complement and enhance the broader organizational objectives and build robust partnerships within the Lab and Distributor partners. Explore partnerships or collaborations that amplify our market presence and expand the footprint of iTero.
  • Collaboration with Sales Leaders: Work in tandem with Sales Leaders to ensure seamless coordination between iTero and Invisalign strategies. Foster synergy to optimize market impact.
  • Market Analysis for iTero, labs and distribution channels: Conduct in-depth market analysis specific to the Canadian dental landscape, identifying opportunities and challenges unique to each channel line to enhance our relative competitive position.
  • Cross-functional Alignment: Collaborate with Sales Leaders, Global, Americas and local business and Marketing, as well as other cross-functional teams such as finance, customer support and operations, to align strategies with broader business functions.
  • Performance Metrics for iTero, labs and distribution channels: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) specific to the business. Regularly evaluate and report on performance, providing actionable recommendations to enhance outcomes. Ownership of funnel management for Canada (East, West, and DSO).
  • Innovation for iTero, labs and distribution channels: Play lead role in GTM strategy build and execution and training of new product innovation. Continue liaise and identify opportunities for product enhancements and technological advancements.
  • iTero, labs and distribution channels sales support: Provide strategic support to the DP TMs Sales team, ensuring that iTero initiatives align with sales objectives and contribute to overall revenue growth. Ensure DP TMs receive ongoing product and sales training and support. Work in concert with Sr. Manager, Digital Adoption for seamless integration of iTero software and all innovations are fully understood, adopted, and utilized.
  • Communication within iTero, labs and distribution channels: Effectively communicate Canada’s strategic vision and objectives to internal stakeholders within these channels. Foster a shared understanding of the related strategy and its impact on business outcomes.
  • Risk Management for iTero, labs and distribution channels: Identify and mitigate risks associated with related initiatives. Develop contingency plans to navigate potential challenges and ensure the resilience of these 3 separates but connected business lines.
  • Leadership in iTero, labs and distribution channels: Provide strong leadership within the Canadian and Global related channels, mentoring team members and cultivating a culture of ownership and accountability, innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Develop scalable strategies for professional engagement and innovation which include Professional Education, Lab Engagement, etc. with clear goals, priorities, and resources to achieve measurable results.
  • Guidance and support the broader organization leveraging restorative dental knowledge to influence business planning cycle investments, training, education, and consumer/professional marketing outreach.

What We're Looking For

  • Minimum of a bachelor’s degree, preferably in business or health sciences field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of overall applicable and related business-to-business (B2B) sales experience preferably in a health-related industry (i.e. dentistry, optometry, etc.). Strong preference for candidates with industry experience selling a medical device, dentistry or capital equipment. Ideally, at least 6 of these years must be in leading sales teams.
  • Proven experience in a strategic leadership role, with a focus on the dental industry and CAD/CAM space.
  • Ability to influence and lead in a complex matrix organization to achieve stretch objectives demonstrating relentless drive to achieve results and self-initiative.
  • Proven business, financial and marketing acumen including the ability to lead business discussions (Cash Flow Analysis, ROI, P&L) and asking the right business questions.
  • In-depth knowledge of the Canadian dental market and experience working with dental technology products.
  • Experience working cross functionally both domestic and with global partners.
  • Skilled communicator in English; in both verbal and written format, who can synthesize and deliver complex information with clarity and diplomacy to a wide variety of audiences Described as charismatic, effective & engaging presenter. French skills are considered a definite asset.
  • Documented personal track record of performance, achievement, and excellence in sales and sales management, preferably in a high growth industry.
  • Analytical skills, attention to detail, ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with convergent timelines.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment with superior prioritization skills. Must be highly collaborative, resilient and adaptable.
  • Strong technical savvy including but not limited to proficiency with Sales Force and MS Office suite systems.
  • Ability to travel, approximately 40% of the time primarily within Canada and US including overnight stays.
  • Willingness to vary working hours to accommodate occasional evening or weekend customer events.
  • Legally entitled to work in Canada and travel to the US.
  • Possess and maintain a valid driver’s license and good driving record.

Pay Transparency If provided, base salary or wage rate ranges are the range in which Align reasonably expects to set a candidate’s pay for the posted position. Actual placement depends on the individual skills and experience level of a candidate plus the total compensation and equity across team members. For other locations outside of the primary location, the base salary range will be adjusted geographically.

For Field Sales roles, the salary listed is the base pay only and does not include the applicable incentive compensation plan. A cost of living adjustment may be added to base pay for higher cost areas in the U.S.

Our internship hourly rates are a standard pay determined based on the position and your location, year in school, degree, and experience.
