The Revenue Operation’s System team plays a pivotal role as part of the larger Sales Operations team that supports all business units at Opentext, globally. Specifically, this team focuses on the support and enhancements of our primary CRM tool (Salesforece.com) that allow our Sales and Professional Services teams to operate efficiently and effectively. Our core systems include: Salesforce.com and Anaplan.
The Revenue Operations Business Analyst plays a critical role in supporting the sales organization by translating business needs into scalable system solutions. This role partners cross-functionally to drive operational efficiency, manage system enhancements, and support data integrity across CRM platforms such as Salesforce.com. The analyst will also contribute to reporting and analytics, support M system integrations, and leverage AI tools to optimize sales processes.
What the Role Offers
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements for system changes and enhancements.
- Manage end-to-end change cycles: requirements definition, implementation, testing, training, and post-deployment support.
- Partner with IT to ensure technical solutions align with business objectives.
- Support M initiatives by leading system convergence and cutover activities.
- Maintain data quality and integrity across Salesforce.com and related platforms.
- Develop and maintain reports and dashboards for Sales and Revenue Operations leadership.
- Provide end-user support and training, including issue resolution via ticketing systems.
- Leverage AI tools to identify and implement opportunities for sales process optimization.
- Apply project management principles to coordinate and deliver system-related initiatives on time and within scope.
What You Need to Succeed
- University degree or college diploma in Business Technology, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of experience with Salesforce.com or other CRM platforms; Salesforce Administrator or Consultant certification is an asset.
- 3–5 years of experience in business analysis, including formal training in BA methodologies.
- 3–5 years of experience in process design, flow charts, stories, use case development, test planning, and UAT execution.
- Experience supporting Sales teams in a customer-focused environment.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with data analysis and reporting.
- Familiarity with AI tools and their application in sales operations.
- Project management experience, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
