About the role
Killam Apartment REIT, based in Halifax, Nova Scotia, is one of Canada's largest residential real estate investment trusts, owning, operating, and developing a $5.3 billion portfolio of apartments and manufactured home communities. Killam's strategy to drive value and profitability focuses on three priorities: (1) increase earnings from the existing portfolio; (2) expand the portfolio and diversify geographically through accretive acquisitions, targeting newer properties and dispositions of non-core assets; and (3) develop high-quality properties in its core markets.
We are currently searching for a detail oriented, motivatedCleanerto join our team at 50 Greenfields Drive & 190 Parkside in Fredericton, NB. This position is part-time and offers flexible hours, up to 15 hours per week.
What you will do:
- Operate vacuum cleaners to remove dirt and other waste;
- Wash windows and interior walls;
- Empty trash cans and other waste containers;
- Sweep, mop, scrub and wax hallways, floors and stairs;
- Maintain cleanliness of common areas;
- Clean vacant units;
- Report deficiencies to Property Manager for repair;
- Other duties as required.
Who you are:
- Previous experience in a similar role and/or customer service role is considered an asset;
- Strong organizational and time management skills;
- Self-motivated and able to work under minimal supervision;
- Proven communication skills, both written and oral.
