About the role
PHASOR Engineering Inc. is a dynamic Alberta based company specializing in engineering, design, panel fabrication, and testing/commissioning of high voltage electrical facilities. Our focus is to incorporate the latest technological advances, such as IEC 61850, to provide the most cost-effective and efficient solutions to power system engineering. This focus allows us to be involved in a diverse range of projects from conceptual engineering through to commissioning and startup.
We are currently seeking a highly motivated “Receptionist / Office Assistant” to join our team. This role will be sitting at the front of house and will be the first person anyone entering the building see’s and is greeted by.
Responsibilities:
Reception:
- Answering phone calls and directing them
- Managing emails and correspondence
- Scheduling and coordinating meetings or appointments
- Greeting visitors and directing them appropriately
Office Assistant:
- Filing and organizing paper and electronic documents
- Ordering and managing office supplies and swags
- Ensuring office equipment is maintained and functioning. Coordinating with building maintenance or IT support as needed
- Assisting with preparation for meetings (e.g booking rooms, supplies, materials printed etc.)
- Coordinating travel arrangements and monitoring travel mailbox
- Process office expense reports and swag purchase orders
- Assisting with vendor callback requests (EFT callback process)
- Overlooking office food deliveries to ensure timely receipt and distribution
- Managing pantry or kitchen supplies
- Assisting with event planning or company activities
- Running adhoc errands like mailing packages or picking up supplies
Qualifications:
-
2 year’s experience as a receptionist, administrative assistant, or similar role.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)

Attention to detail

Ability to prioritize tasks effectively

Customer service orientation with a friendly and professional demeanor

Ability to work independently and as part of a team
