Responsibilities for Health Centre Security Guard
- Patrol sensitive areas (interior/exterior) to deter and detect suspicious activity.
- Manage access control and identity verification for secure zones.
- Respond promptly to alarms, site codes, and incidents; take appropriate action to stabilize situations.
- De-escalate conflicts professionally and maintain order while upholding property rules and by-laws.
- Liaise with law enforcement and emergency responders during serious incidents.
- Communicate clearly via radio and in person with clients, visitors, and team members.
- Document incidents, observations, and actions taken through accurate reports and logs.
- Perform proactive patrols and lock/unlock routines to maintain safety and security
Qualifications for Health Centre Security Guard
- MB Security Guard licence (or eligible) and legal right to work in Canada.
- Security/protective services or high-volume customer service in an asset
- Access control & ID verification; clear radio communication.
- Strong situational awareness; rapid response to alarms/codes; confident de-escalation.
- Solid report writing (incident/DAR/maintenance); basic alarm/access-control proficiency.
- Fit for patrols (standing/walking/stairs); professional with clients and emergency services.
