QA Automation Engineer
Job Overview: We are looking for a QA Automation Engineer with experience in retail systems, including Point of Sale (POS), payments, and order management. The role involves creating and maintaining automated tests to ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of retail applications.
Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain automated test frameworks using Cypress, Node.js, and Selenium. Create UI and API test automation scripts using JavaScript and Cucumber (BDD). Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions. Test retail applications and microservices related to payments, inventory, pricing, promotions, and order processing. Perform end-to-end testing for checkout, refunds, and omnichannel retail workflows. Execute data-driven testing to validate system performance, reliability, and data accuracy. Work closely with Agile teams to identify defects and improve test coverage. Support continuous improvement of testing processes and automation practices.
Required Skills: Experience in QA automation testing. Strong knowledge of Cypress, Selenium, Node.js, and REST API testing. Proficiency in JavaScript and Cucumber (BDD). Experience with CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions. Understanding of retail systems, POS, payments, and order lifecycle processes. Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Skills: Experience improving quality and accuracy in production processes. Strong attention to detail and troubleshooting abilities.
