What to Expect:

The Brand & Content Specialist will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful execution and orchestration of brand campaigns and initiatives at Nespresso. This position requires a detail-oriented individual who can manage multiple projects, align with various stakeholders, and maintain brand integrity across all channels. The Brand Specialist will be responsible for campaign planning, coordination, and evaluation, ensuring that all marketing efforts align with Nespresso's brand guidelines and business objectives.

A day in the life:

Campaign Localization and Orchestration

  • Adapt and localize global campaigns to fit the Canadian market, ensuring cultural relevance and alignment with local consumer preferences.
  • Evaluate marketing and channel needs to align with overall business objectives.
  • Collaborate with HQ and NAM to ensure effective campaign coordination and execution from the outset.
  • Create and maintain a campaign workback schedule to ensure timely launches and successful execution across all channels.
  • Lead brainstorming sessions and post-mortem reviews to gather insights from previous campaigns, informing future strategies and improvements.

Messaging Framework and Copy Development

  • Develop a comprehensive messaging framework that aligns with brand guidelines and resonates with target audiences.
  • Take responsibility for copywriting and producing copy decks for key brand experiences and campaigns (full-funnel), ensuring that the messaging is compelling, consistent, and aligned with the brand's tone and voice.
  • Brief creative agencies for copy production and ensure all content is tailored to meet the needs of each channel.

Channel-Specific Execution and Alignment

  • Ensure strong alignment across all key channels (media, e-commerce, boutique, and trade) for cohesive campaign execution.
  • Assist channel teams with their brand image and content needs, acting as an internal consultant to provide strategic guidance.
  • Conduct regular status calls with channel leaders to monitor progress and address any challenges.

Post-Test Process and Campaign Reporting

  • Lead the post-test process for campaigns, gathering insights and defining key learnings from customer insights, media, e-commerce, retail, and trade.
  • Prepare comprehensive campaign reports that encompass findings from media performance, post-test evaluations, and e-commerce results.
  • Archive campaign documentation and update the learnings tracker to inform future campaigns.

Manage budgets and ensure compliance:

  • Conduct brand safety checks to uphold the brand's reputation.
  • Maintain up-to-date brand guidelines and ensure all team members are informed of any changes.
  • Apply all Nespresso/Nestlé guidelines to ensure Creative X compliance & Quebec language regulations compliance
  • Manages production budget process including, PO creation, accrurals and dynamic forecast
  • Manages the auditing process for creative agency
  • Lead the campaign post test process
  • Report on campaign KPIs
  • Explore emerging technologies to identify new opportunities for innovative content distribution.

Role Requirements

  • University degree in Communications, Marketing or equivalent
  • Minimum of 3 to 5 years of relevant Marketing-Media experience working with creative & media agencies
  • Content Specialist or similar role, with a strong portfolio of content creation across various channels.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and French, with a keen eye for detail and grammar.
  • Proficiency in content management systems and social media platforms.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
  • Knowledge of industry best practices and content optimization techniques.

Preferred Skills

  • Familiarity with analytics tools to track and measure content performance.
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
