Ticket Operations Administrator
About the role
Reporting to the Supervisor, Ticket Operations, the Ticket Operations Administrator will assist with order processing, fulfillment and distribution of tickets while providing excellent customer service to our fans.
This is a replacement position and requires on-site work. The hourly pay for this part-time position is $20.00.
What you’ll do:
- Respond to general telephone inquiries and direct customers to the appropriate department internally or externally.
- Monitor and respond to customer service voice messages and email inquiries.
- Process all walk up sales for single game sports tickets and concerts, using Ticketmaster ticketing system.
- Assist in the day-to-day operations of the TD Place Box Office:
- Sell tickets for all events at TD Place.
- Process and manage cash, debit and credit card transactions with confidence.
- Maintain data integrity as it relates to information input into Ticketmaster ticketing system.
- Provide exceptional internal/external customer service to resolve issues.
- Work with sales representatives on the following tasks:
- Process payments via debit and cash.
- Participate in projects as assigned.
- Assist with other duties as assigned.
What’s needed:
- Post-Secondary degree preferred.
- 1-2 years experience in a front facing, customer service role.
- Excellent relationship building and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with internal and external clients at all levels within the organization.
- Excellent communication skills, including a friendly and professional telephone manner.
- A positive mindset and the ability to jump in on a ‘one team one vision’ culture.
- Self-starter with the ability to manage multiple projects in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.
- Ability to work 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday consistently.
- Familiarity with both Apple and Android apps and cell phone technology.
- Strong computer literacy and aptitude is required.
- Experience using sports ticketing systems (Archtics/Ticketmaster) is preferred.
- Ability to adapt to and thrive in a high-paced environment.
- Bilingualism in French and English is a requirement.
