Who you are
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field (or equivalent experience); advanced degree preferred
- 8+ years of experience in partner/ sales enablement, strategic partnerships, sales engineering, strategic customer success or strategy & operations within high-tech or enterprise software companies
- Proven track record of building and scaling innovative enablement programs and certification frameworks from the ground up
- Exceptional communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into clear, engaging educational content for diverse audiences
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and influence stakeholders in a fast-paced, agile environment
- Strong technical acumen with familiarity in LLMs and AI platforms, ideally with experience supporting complex, enterprise end-to-end solutions
- Track record of success in fast-paced, high-growth environments
- Consulting experience at a top-tier firm or in a strategic advisory role, with expertise in GTM strategy, partner ecosystems, or enablement program design
- Strong understanding of enterprise software sales processes, partner ecosystem dynamics, and channel strategies
- Experience developing adoption programs for both technical and non-technical audiences
- Experience with learning management systems (LMS), partner portals, and content curation platforms

What the job involves
- As the Enablement & Adoption Specialist at Cohere, you will own and pioneer the Partner Enablement strategy for our cutting-edge frontier AI enterprise platform
- This role is critical in designing and building scalable enablement programs from the ground up, architecting frameworks that empower partners to successfully sell, implement, and support Cohere’s solutions
- Reporting directly to the Enablement & Adoption Lead, you will collaborate closely with the broader Enablement & Adoption team and Partner team to align initiatives with partner success outcomes, driving long-term partner growth
- This position demands thought leadership, innovation, and a willingness to redefine partner enablement for frontier AI technologies
- Pioneer and execute a comprehensive, innovative partner enablement strategy, including scalable onboarding processes, certification frameworks, and continuous learning paths tailored for Cohere solutions
- Develop a deep expertise in Cohere’s agent foundry North and Cohere models, with the ability to become a subject matter expert and confidently articulate value propositions, use cases, and technical capabilities to partners and internal stakeholders
- Develop tiered, industry-leading certification programs to validate partner expertise across sales, technical domains, setting new standards for partner competency in Cohere solutions and Generative AI
- Build next-generation co-selling frameworks (e.g., joint value propositions, partner playbooks) and foster cross-functional partnerships with Go-To-Market (GTM), Product Marketing, Product Management, and Forward Deployed Engineering teams to align enablement content with market positioning, product roadmaps, and technical implementation needs
- Design globally scalable enablement blueprints and frameworks that adapt to diverse user profiles, regional markets and partner segments, ensuring consistent competency development worldwide
- Collaborate with the broader Enablement & Adoption team to distill adoption best practices, customer insights, and training methodologies from Cohere’s internal and direct customer engagements, adapting these learnings into partner-facing enablement strategies. Partner with the Partner Delivery Managers to build and deploy training. Be a thought partner/ advisor to partners to define their Cohere enablement journey
- Create and maintain dynamic, engaging live and digital training programs, enablement assets, and certification resources to drive self-service enablement and partner competency, leveraging emerging technologies for delivery
