**POSITION TYPE:**Student, Term up to 4 months (May to August)
HOURS OF WORK: 35 to 40 hours per week
DEPARTMENT****Recreation and Culture
HOURLY RATE$23.17 per hour
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION
- Grade 12 Diploma or GED
- Having attended the 2025/2026 school year full time with proof of returning to full time studies in 2026/2027
LICENSES / CERTIFICATES
- Valid Class Five (5) Driver's Licence
- Current first aid certification (Emergency First Aid or OFA Level 1, or Child’s Safe First Aid) PLUS CPR ‘C’
SPECIFIC SKILLS
- Self-motivated and highly organized
EXPERIENCE
- Minimum of two years’ experience conducting summer camp programs
- One year’s experience with the general public, youth groups or organizations
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS
- Attendance is required at the Spirit of the Rockies Festival and Canada Day activities
- Mandatory orientation and training sessions before the program commences
- Police Information Check
