Patient Admin Associate - Neuropsychology - Regular Full-time - 2025-14857 (2025-14857)
About the role
The PAA provides clerical support to all areas of Ambulatory Mental health as assigned. This includes staffing, scheduling, payroll, registering patients in QuadraMed, telephone contact with patients to set up appointments, setting up charts, co-ordinating patient flow, maintaining of patient records, fielding phone calls and queries. In collaboration with other PAAs in the program, covers patient reception, registering patient visits, maintain workload statistics, set up, maintain and closes patient files. Covers for other clerical staff as required during vacations, breaks and absences.
Qualifications/Skills
- One year of Community College- Medical Terminology course preferred
- One year of Administrative/Business experience in health care setting required
- Demonstrated Patient-Focused Care/Customer Service behaviour
- Knowledge of software packages such as Word/Windows
- Keyboarding at 40 w.p.m with maximum 5% error rate
- Ability to organize work effectively, and work at a fast pace in an unpredictable environment
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment
