Job Summary
How you will make an impact
You will be responsible for performing an array of duties such as receiving and processing incoming stock and materials, picking and filling orders from stock and managing inventory within the warehouse.
As a Warehouse Associate, you will
- Schedule distribution of goods; prepare bills of lading, invoices & other shipping documents
- Perform manual & computerized inventory control
- Maintain internal record keeping system, record shortages & reject damaged goods
- Route goods to appropriate storage areas, pack goods to be shipped, unpack goods received
- Oversee loading & unloading of goods
- Perform all job functions in a safe and professional manner.
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Display a clear understanding of company policies and ability to administer as needed
- Including additional duties as required
About you
- Valid Class 5 driver's license required and must be valid for 2 years or more
- Frequent heavy lifting
- Forklift Operator Certification is an asset
- Must have computer skills and be proficient in Microsoft Office
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Ability to independently and as part of a team
- Strong leadership skills
- Passion towards learning
Final compensation will be determined based on relevant skills, experience, qualifications, and internal equity. We are committed to offering competitive compensation and comply with all applicable pay transparency legislation.
