About the role
MEI is an independent Pre-K-12 school system with approximately 1600 students. All applicants must be dedicated to Christian education. Successful candidates are required to sign an MEI Staff Covenant indicating acceptance and agreement with MEI Schools' Christian values.
MEI Middle School is seeking qualified applicants for the following teaching position with the intended start date of September 2, 2026.
**Middle School
****Grade Eight Homeroom Teacher 0.4 FTE
**Part-time temporary position, with an intended start date of September 2, 2026, to June 23, 2027.
This position will remain open until filled.
The annual salary for each teacher position is determined by qualifications and experience for placement on the MEI Teacher Salary Grid. For the2025-2026 school year, a full-time BC Certified Teacher salary (with a certificate of qualification from the BC Ministry of Education and Childcare and with a university degree and a professional teacher education program) ranges from**$67,039 to $109,995.**
