Midland Transport is currently seeking a Class 5 P&D Straight Truck Driver based out of our St. John’s Terminal, NL . The selected candidate will be a reliable person with a strong work ethic and positive attitude with a commitment to providing a Superior Quality Service.

Main Role:

Manage time and ensure accurate and timely delivery service to our customers. Enthusiastic, great attitude and exceptional customer service skills are a must to join the team.

Work Schedule : Monday to Friday (0800-1700)

• Operating 5-ton Straight Truck

• Work with variable shipment weight and freight handling equipment

• Maintain Company Equipment Standards

• Process daily pickup and delivery records

• Support Midland Courier team if required.

• Drive, use equipment and work in accordance with the safety regulation and procedures, Traffic laws and company rules

• Education Required: High School or GED

• Class 5 driver’s license with a minimum of 2 years’ safe commercial straight truck driving experience required

• Clean driver’s abstract and criminal search

• Good communication skills

• Able to work in a fast-paced environment

• Able to lift 50 lbs. using the proper equipment

• Excellent work ethic and reliability

• Safety conscious
