Vancouver Pile Driving Ltd. (VanPile) is seeking a detail‑oriented and highly organized Equipment & Parts Coordinator to support one of our major project sites in Prince Rupert. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to the successful execution of a high‑profile marine construction project by ensuring all equipment, tools, and parts are tracked, maintained, and efficiently managed.

This is a fly‑in, fly‑out position with a two‑week on / one‑week off rotation. We provide full accommodation and covered travel expenses for the duration of this 8‑month full‑time contract, with the potential for extension based on project requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Label all equipment, tools, and components with clear and accurate identification tags
  • Establish and maintain a comprehensive equipment and parts inventory, ensuring records are accurate and current
  • Record and track critical information including serial numbers, locations, usage status, and condition
  • Coordinate closely with site supervisors, mechanics, and project teams to monitor equipment movement and availability
  • Conduct regular inventory audits to verify accuracy and completeness
  • Support procurement and logistics by identifying parts and equipment needs
  • Maintain organized digital and physical documentation for all equipment and parts
  • Assist with receiving, inspecting, and staging materials and equipment
  • Identify opportunities to improve equipment management processes and implement best practices
  • Ensure equipment tracking supports safe, efficient, and compliant project execution

Qualifications / Requirements

  • High school diploma required; post‑secondary education or certifications in inventory control, logistics, or supply chain considered an asset
  • Proven experience in equipment coordination, parts management, warehousing, or inventory administration—ideally in construction, industrial, or marine environments
  • Strong proficiency with Excel and experience using inventory management systems or digital tracking tools
  • Excellent organizational and time‑management skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary field teams
  • Ability to perform physical tasks such as tagging, moving, and inspecting equipment and parts
  • Willingness to work in a remote, fast‑paced construction environment

Compensation

**Salary range:**Salary: $75 - $80k per annum

The actual salary offered will depend on job‑related factors including relevant experience, education, qualifications, internal equity, and Carlson Construction Group’s compensation policies.
