Job Title: Maintenance Planner
Location: North York, ON
Salary Range: $100,000 - $115,000 based on experience and education + bonus potential
Summary
We’re hiring a Maintenance Planne r to support two high-speed food and beverage production facilitie s in North York, ON. In this role, you’ll be the point person for organizing, tracking, and optimizing all preventative maintenance and repair activities. What You’ll Be Doing
- Manage and maintain th e CM MS to ensure accurate equipment history, timely reports, and strong planning visibility
- Build and schedule preventative maintenance tasks based on equipment manuals and historical performance
- Generate work orders with clearly defined scope, timelines, required labor, and tools
- Maintain the inventory of tools and parts, ensuring availability and minimal downtime
- Coordinate with th e Tool Crib te am and provide vacation coverage when needed
- Trac k KP Is tied to equipment performance, failures, and service trends—recommend process improvements
- Schedule and coordinate service contractors, track work completion, and maintain service documentation
- Support Maintenance Supervisors in staff scheduling and daily task planni
- ngKeep PM standards current and ensure alignment with production and operational schedules
- Participate in plant-wide projects and initiatives assigned by the Maintenance Manager
What You Bring
- BS degree in Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Technology, or a related discipline is required
- 5+ years of experience in a Maintenance Plann ing role within a food, beverage, or CPG manufacturing setting
- Proficiency wi th MS Ex cel and ERP/CMMS platforms (Oracle-based systems preferred)
- Understanding of mechanical systems, production machinery, and plant maintenance practices
- Excellent organization skills and a sharp eye for process efficiency
- Comfortable working independently while collaborating across departments
- Previous experience as a Maintenance Supervi sor or Mechanical Technic ian is a strong asset
