Job Summary
Repair technicians are responsible for providing repairs, complete tuning and safety inspections of guests, staff and rental ski & snowboard equipment. This requires competency using both hand and mechanical tools to perform the necessary maintenance and safety checks.
Essential Job Functions
- Perform repairs and maintenance to skis and boards using hand tools and machines to provide the best possible finish product.
- Mount bindings on skis and boards.
- Test binding release and record.
- Provide information to guests on services available with the best solutions.
- Maintain the facility in a clean and safe manner.
- Perform regular maintenance on the machinery and tools.
Required Qualifications and Abilities
- Must be eligible to work in Canada – can provide SIN # documentation
- Experience in ski and board repair operations. Experience with Wintersteiger equipment is considered a strong asset.
- Competent Skier or Snowboarder
- Able to lift 50lbs and carry out physical tasks
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Work both in a team and independently.
- Manage priorities.
- Anticipate business levels and manage accordingly.
