Voyago is searching for a Full-Time Dispatch Supervisor in our Schools Division!
As a Dispatch Supervisor, you will report directly to the Operations Manager and play a critical role in ensuring uninterrupted service within our schools division. You will oversee daily operations, provide support and guidance to drivers, and serve as a key liaison between schools, internal support teams, and management. This position requires strong leadership, adaptability, and a dedicated focus on safety and customer service. Applicants must also be willing to cover a school route in any school purpose vehicle. (Licence upgrade and training will be provided by Voyago)
Your role:
- Oversee daily Student Transportation operations in London and surrounding area
- Coordinate internal logistics between the Schools Division and support teams such as HR, Maintenance, and Health & Safety
- Supervise and support drivers, ensuring compliance with contract standards and operational needs during staff absences
- Help with day-to-day operational tasks, including vehicle maintenance and cleanliness of buses
- Track and review KPIs; report outcomes to the Operations Manager
- Maintain work schedules and always ensure adequate coverage in dispatch
- Fill in and drive school routes as needed
- Act as the main contact for internal support teams and assist with employee engagement through regular check-ins and meetings
Requirements
Your profile
- You are safety-focused and prioritize the well-being of others
- You are a safe driver with a clean driving record
- You have a valid “B” Class licence (preferred) or willing to upgrade
- You can provide a clean Criminal Record Check and Vulnerable Sector Screening
- You have intermediate to advanced verbal and written language skills (equivalent to B2 to C1 levels)
- You have a strong knowledge of London and the surrounding areas
- You think quickly on your feet and solve problems creatively by thinking outside the box
- You can work independently and manage your time effectively
- You are comfortable working at a fast pace and in an environment where things can change quickly
- You have post-secondary education or an equivalent combination of experience and training
- You bring a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a supervisor role
- You have intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- You can provide excellent customer service
- You have experience in dispatching a high-volume fleet, coordinating multiple routes and drivers
- You have experience working in a unionized environment
- You are available to work a flexible schedule based on operational needs from Monday to Friday (6:00AM to 3:00PM, 7:00AM to 4:00PM, or 8:30AM to 5:30PM) with flexibility to meet operational needs.
- You are comfortable working outside regular business hours when required
Your Location:
- This role is based out of 573 Admiral Court in London. Please note that this is a 100% in-office position.
