SCHOOL DISTRICT #43 (COQUITLAM) invites applications for Temporary 1.0 Grade 2 FRENCH IMMERSION School District No.43 (Coquitlam) is the third largest school district in BC with approximately 4,400 employees and 32,000 students in 70 schools. We serve the communities of Coquitlam, Port Coquitlam, Port Moody, and the villages of Anmore and Belcarra. Our six-year completion rates are well above the provincial average and some of the highest in BC. Overall, we are #1 in the Metro Vancouver region and #2 in BC. Coquitlam School District is accepting applications from candidates for a 1.0 Temporary Grade 2 French Immersion Teacher (October 14, 2025 to June 26, 2026). Temporary positions come with a benefits package. Required Qualifications Successful applicants will possess the appropriate education, training and or experience
- Bachelor of Education degree
- Preference given to candidates eligible for certification with the British Columbia Teacher Regulation Branch.
- Fluency in the written and spoken French
