At Canucks Sports & Entertainment, we are excited to be in the business of creating memorable moments for our fans and guests. We are now inviting enthusiastic, passionate individuals to join our event staff team and be part of the excitement during Canucks games, Warriors games, and concerts at Rogers Arena. We can’t wait to meet you!

POSITION SUMMARY:

Our Servers work in our premium clubs during games and concerts at Rogers Arena, providing a superior level of food and beverage service to our guests. This is a part-time, hourly, events-based position.

A typical shift includes:

  • Providing an exclusive premium service experience to members of our private clubs and VIP areas, serving food and beverages during events and non-event times
  • Processing guests’ orders to ensure all items are prepared properly and on a timely basis
  • Communicating with service staff, kitchen staff, and bartenders to coordinate entire station and ensure guest satisfaction with food and service
  • Other duties as required

 

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must be at least 19 years of age
  • Must be able to work weeknights, weekends, and holidays with a start time of approximately 4:00pm
  • Must be able to safely lift up to 35 lbs.
  • Must be able to stand during scheduled shift, withstand repetitive walking, reaching, and bending for long periods of time
  • At least two years of service experience in a fine dining establishment
  • Completion of Serving it Right Certificate
  • Have an incredible ability to thrive in a fast-paced and high-volume environment while maintaining a first-in-class hospitality and food and beverage experience
  • Strong communication and listening skills and ability to communicate with guests and respond to inquiries
  • A strong understanding of and commitment to uphold our company values of discipline, respect, excellent, attitude, and mindset (DREAM)
  • Non-Canadian residents must hold a valid work permit with a minimum of 8 months of validity remaining
  • This is an onsite role at Rogers Arena in downtown Vancouver
