About the role

Get started on an exciting career at Element! Element employees make a difference in the lives of others every day. We are re-defining the fleet management industry to be people first, then business – delivering on our promise of a superior client experience. This takes hard work and innovation, and we need more like-minded people on our team.

About The Role We’re looking for a hands-on Finance systems leader to join our team in a 12-month fixed term position as Manager, OneStream Platform (Finance Solutions). In this role, you will serve as the OneStream Platform Owner and functional/technical lead for Finance planning, forecasting, consolidation, and reporting. This role is accountable for stabilizing and continuously improving the OneStream ecosystem; owning platform governance, model structure, integrations, workflows, security, and reporting. You will act as the internal OneStream knowledge base, set build standards, and guide solution design while leading a team to execute support and enhancements.

What You’ll Do

  • Own the OneStream platform end-to-end, acting as the system of record for platform knowledge, configuration standards, and best practices across planning, consolidation, and reporting.
  • Lead platform stabilization: improve reliability, performance, data quality, workflow controls, and supportability; reduce recurring issues and manual workarounds.
  • Serve as the primary OneStream solution architect for Finance: govern model structure (metadata/dimensions, hierarchies, scenario/versioning), workflows, security, and reporting standards.
  • Design, build, and review complex calculation logic using OneStream Business Rules (VB.NET/.NET); troubleshoot and resolve high-complexity issues internally before escalating.
  • Own OneStream data integrations and loads (source mappings, validation/reconciliation controls), ensuring data integrity, traceability, and audit-ready documentation.
  • Drive a sustainable enhancement pipeline for OneStream (requirements translation, configuration build/review, testing standards, release readiness, documentation), ensuring maintainability and control compliance.
  • Manage escalation paths: engage external OneStream consultants only when internal build/support cannot resolve specialized needs.
  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of Analysts and Senior Analysts, Finance Solutions, building depth in OneStream configuration, troubleshooting, and Finance process understanding.
  • Partner with Finance leadership to translate planning/consolidation needs into a governed OneStream roadmap and adoption strategy.
  • Support change management through stakeholder engagement, training, and communication of platform changes and impacts.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Statistics, or a related field of study.
  • 5–8 years of experience in Finance transformation, FP&A, consolidation, or EPM/CPM systems roles, with demonstrated ownership of core Finance processes and controls.
  • OneStream expertise is required: deep hands-on experience owning a OneStream production environment, including model/metadata design, workflows, security, integrations/data loads, and reporting.
  • Coding capability is required: hands-on development and debugging of OneStream Business Rules (VB.NET/.NET) to implement and support complex calculations, validations, and logic.
  • Demonstrated ability to stabilize and operate a Finance platform (governance, documentation, release standards, root-cause problem solving, stakeholder support).
  • People leadership experience (direct or strong matrix leadership), including coaching technical work and setting standards for quality.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Power BI, SQL/data modeling, and Finance data flows (ERP/source systems) is strongly preferred.
  • CPA or CFA designation (or progress toward either) is preferred.

Location: Toronto
