The Role
Repair Approximately 70 percent
- Perform hands on diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on heavy duty trucks and equipment
- Test vehicles to ensure safety and manufacturer compliance
- Work closely with Parts to ensure required components are available
Problem Solving Approximately 20 percent
- Review repair concerns provided by Service Advisors
- Diagnose engine, transmission, hydraulic, electrical, and electronic systems using advanced diagnostic tools
- Interpret results and establish accurate repair timelines
Reporting and Training Approximately 10 percent
- Accurately track time and document repair work performed
- Participate in ongoing training and certification programs

Day Shift | 4 x 10 Schedule | 3 Week Rotation
All shifts are 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
Week 1
- Work Wednesday to Saturday
- Days off Sunday to Tuesday
Week 2
- Work Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday
- Days off Wednesday, Thursday, Sunday
Week 3
- Work Monday to Thursday
- Days off Friday to Sunday
Schedule Designed for Work Life Balance
- Four 10 hour shifts per week with three full days off
- Built in long weekends throughout the rotation
- Consistent daytime hours with evenings at home
- Predictable 3 week cycle that supports planning family, personal, and recreational time
- Balanced mix of weekday and weekend time off across the rotation
Education and Certification
- Journeyman Heavy Equipment Technician Red Seal preferred
- Valid Class 1 or Class 3 driver’s license is an asset
