About the role
We are seeking a Large Format Print Operator to run our large format direct to substrate print division.
Duties:
- Coding jobs, speaking with clients, working with a team
- Operate the Flatbed Printer
- Daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance
- Room maintenance (temperature, humidity, cleanliness)
- Making sure your jobs are done correctly and on time
- Completing your jobs as quick as possible and of high quality
- Work with service technicians to maintain your machines
- Ensure all jobs run smoothly, on time, and of highest quality standards.
- Work closely with key clients to complete jobs, scheduling clients to come in to see 1st proofs onsite when necessary
- You will work closely with management to increase departmental efficiency, workflow, and standard operating procedure throughout the department
Requirements:
- Full-time role: 40 hours per week, with overtime as needed
- Fluency in spoken and written English is essential
- Minimum 18 months Canadian work experience is essential
- Previous experience working with flatbed printers (1 year minimum)
- Previous printing experience (2 year minimum)
- Full Adobe Suite
- Colour Management Skills
- Good communication skills

- Finishing Capabilities
- Ability to lift at least 40lbs
