We are currently seeking applicants for the position of Auto Body Technician and Painter to join our fast-paced, dynamic team in Saint John, New Brunswick.

• Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and applying primers or sealants as needed.

• Repair or replace damaged parts

• Select and mix paints to achieve the desired color and texture, following specifications and guidelines.

• Apply paint to various surfaces using sprag guns, brushes, or rollers, ensuring even coverage and smooth finish.

• Use masking tape and other materials to protect areas not to be painted.

• Monitor and maintain painting equipment, including cleaning and performing minor repairs.

• Follow safety protocols and guidelines for handling and disposing of paint and related materials.

• Keep accurate records of paint usage, job progress and completion times.

• Communicate with supervisors and team members regarding job requirements and specifications.

• Decal/graphic installation on equipment.

• A journeyperson Autobody Technician is preferred, however, apprentices will be considered.

• Knowledge of painting techniques, materials, and equipment.

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.

• Physical strength and stamina and ability to work in various positions, heights, and environments
