Reporting to the Body Shop Supervisor, the 310B Licensed or Apprentice Body Shop Technician is responsible for repairing or replacing damaged body parts back to Pre-Accident Condition with factory and dealership specifications to meet or exceed the original factory fit and finish. This is a full-time, day shift position, Monday to Friday.
Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance of all Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA) regulations, as well as the Company’s Health and Safety Policy.
- Removes replaces interiors, trims and accessories to gain access to damaged areas.
- Repairs to fiberglass hoods, fenders and other transport truck components.
- Removes dents and repairs damaged surfaces or replaces damaged parts.
- Works with body fillers, glazes, primers and other painting materials.
- Grinds, files, sands, welds and refinishes surfaces.
- Maintains a clean and safe work area, tools, and equipment.
- Comply with using proper use of PPE .
- Other mechanical repair work as required.
Basic Qualifications

- 2 years of experience preferred in a Bodyshop environment
- Experience with repairing and replacing damaged body parts
- Work with a team and or independently and follow instructions.
- High school diploma
- Criminal Record Check
- Driver's Abstract
Work Conditions

- Physical ability to lift up to 50lb.
- Safety equipment will be required, e.g. steel-toed safety boots, safety glasses/goggles, etc.
- Overtime as required.
- Hazards associated with the trade.
- Exposure to loud noises.
- Work both indoors and outdoors.
