GSFS 307 Indigenous Feminism
Explores Indigenous feminisms in historical and contemporary contexts, with a critical focus on the tensions between feminist and Indigenous epistemologies. The relationships between feminisms, settler-colonialism, nation-building, and Indigenous social justice struggles will be emphasized.

Teaching Qualification Requirements:

  • A completed PhD Degree or enrolled in a doctoral program in a discipline related to the course;

  • Teaching experience in related courses at the university level preferred;

  • Experience as a teaching assistant for a course is an asset.

Schedule: Tuesdays and Thursdays, 11:35 am - 12:55 pm, January 5 2026 - April 14 2026.
