This role is currently remote.

Responsibilities:

During your placement, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Support the annual update of the Financial Condition Testing (FCT) and Economic Capital

  • Contribute to the successful completion of Quarterly Reserve Reviews by streamlining processes, ensuring accuracy, and enhancing overall efficiency

  • Help with the production of the Appointed Actuary Report (AAR)

  • Participate in the financial loss planning

  • Assist with data pull, preparation, and ad-hoc requests.

  • Provide actuarial support to team members

Required Skills:

We are looking for a student who is:

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Actuarial Science, or related fields.
  • Proficient in Excel. SAS experience is an asset
  • Pursuing an actuarial designation through the CAS or CIA
