The Operational Manager is responsible for leading the day-to-day operations of an HVAC distribution center across two shifts. Reporting to the Regional Director, this role oversees supervisors and team leads and ensures safe, efficient, and customer-focused operations. The successful candidate will drive performance, develop leaders, and support continuous improvement in a fast-paced distribution environment.

What you will accomplish with us:

Lead and oversee distribution center operations for day and afternoon shifts.

Manage and develop Supervisors and Team Leads, driving accountability and engagement.

Ensure productivity, order accuracy, inventory integrity, and service level targets are met.

Plan staffing and workflows to support seasonal and operational demands specific to HVAC distribution.

Promote a strong health and safety culture and ensure regulatory compliance.

Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on efficiency, quality, and cost control.

Partner with cross-functional teams to resolve operational and customer service issues.

Monitor and report key operational KPIs to the Regional Director.

What You Bring to Our Team:

Post-secondary education in operations, logistics, supply chain, or equivalent experience.

5-10 years of experience in distribution center or warehouse operations, preferably within HVAC, industrial, or construction-related products.

Demonstrated experience leading supervisors and team leads in a multi-shift environment.

Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, WMS, and performance metrics.

Solid understanding of health and safety practices in an industrial setting.

Strong problem solving and result oriented mindset

Excellent communication and customer service skills

Base salary range: $90,000 - $100,000 annually
Supplemental Pay Types Include: annual bonus

The final salary will be determined based on the candidate’s skills and experience, in compliance with applicable regulations.
