As a Bilingual Quality Assurance Analyst at TELUS Health, you'll spend your days ensuring the quality and reliability of our health technology solutions within an Agile development environment. You'll analyze technical documents, design comprehensive test strategies, execute testing procedures, and collaborate with cross-functional teams including Functional Leads, Business Analysts, Solution Designers, and Developers to identify and resolve issues.
Working in a bilingual environment, you'll contribute to the full software testing lifecycle while mentoring junior team members and supporting the delivery of critical applications that thousands of users across North America rely on.
What You'll Do
- Communicate with Functional Leads, Business Analysts, Solution Designers, and Developers to gain clear understanding of testing scope
- Analyze technical documents to identify high-level test scenarios and develop comprehensive test cases
- Apply structured testing techniques to create positive and negative test cases with expected results and test data
- Maintain and update test suites based on new or changed functionalities
- Prioritize and execute manual test scripts with precision and attention to detail
- Report defects, follow up on resolution within established timeframes, and perform retesting
- Work closely with QA Leads to report testing progress and raise flags on potential risks to deadlines or quality
- Support and peer-review tasks of other QA resources, particularly those with less experience
- Provide client support and training when required
- Deliver all QA-related tasks according to defined standards and procedures in a timely manner
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Agile ceremonies on stable, long-term projects that impact healthcare technology
What You Bring
Required:
- Bilingual proficiency (English and French) - excellent written and oral communication skills
- University degree in computer science, mathematics, or related discipline
- Minimum 2 years of relevant Quality Assurance experience
- Detail-oriented mindset with strong analytical skills
- Ability to put yourself in clients' shoes and understand external customer requirements from a testing perspective
- Curious, disciplined, and creative approach to problem-solving
- Ability to use concepts and data to approach problems in a structured manner
- Clear and constructive communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Ability to think from users' perspective
- Commitment to learning and professional growth
- Ability to work effectively in a remote/hybrid environment
- Availability to travel within Canada
Assets:
- Experience in pension plan administration or financial services industry
- Experience using Azure DevOps (ADO) for test management and defect tracking
- Experience with Selenium and Java

This is a remote position with the option for in-person attendance in a TELUS Health office, if available in your area. Some travel within Canada may be necessary.
