Description of the Position

The Director, Marketing Operations, will design and lead the operational backbone of the Foundation’s marketing practice: connecting data, process, and performance. This leader acts as the aggregator of marketing intelligence, transforming insights into strategies that improve efficiency, accountability, and growth across all marketing channels.

Key Responsibilities

You will:

  • Develop and implement the Marketing Operations framework, roadmap, and processes aligned with the Foundation long-term strategic vision.
  • Collaborate with internal partners, including IT and Business Insights teams, to modernize CRM and marketing technology systems.
  • Develop and manage holistic measurement frameworks and KPIs, ensuring alignment with business priorities.
  • Foster a culture of learning and continuous improvement by ensuring performance is visible to everyone.
  • Partner with Analytics and Finance to create automated dashboards and campaign scorecards.
  • Lead the annual and quarterly marketing planning process.
  • Oversee the digital strategy roadmap, including the vision for SickKidsFoundation.com and ensuring the website evolves as a storytelling, conversion, and data capture platform.
  • Oversee paid media strategy and performance.
  • Define the digital measurement framework that connects journey analytics (web, media, CRM) to business outcomes.
  • Enhance the adoption of MarTech and AI solutions to improve campaign tracking, forecasting, and personalized engagement.
  • Establish workflows, governance, and campaign intake processes that improve agility and transparency.
  • Lead, coach, and inspire a high-impact marketing operations team, enabling innovation and collaboration.

Qualifications

While we know that for any job posting no one candidate will possess the qualifications being sought in equal measure, below is an outline of the qualifications we believe are important for a candidate to bring to the position or for the successful candidate to develop while in the role:

  • 7 -10 years in marketing operations, analytics, or performance management roles.
  • Expertise in measurement frameworks, marketing data infrastructure, and CRM ecosystems.
  • Demonstrated experience implementing or optimizing MarTech platforms (Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Google Analytics 360, Power BI).
  • Strong project-management and collaboration skills.
  • Proven experience leading website strategy, redesigns, or content optimization initiatives that improved engagement and conversion.
  • Deep understanding of paid media ecosystems (search, social, programmatic) and how they connect to CRM and web analytics.
  • Knowledge of digital experience platforms (CMS, GA4, tag management) and how to orchestrate cross-channel data flows.
  • Strong ability to translate digital performance insights into creative and media strategies.
  • Demonstrated leadership applying equity, diversity and inclusion best practices - leading inclusive teams and practicing EDI principles across all stakeholder and vendor engagements.
  • Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and align cross-functional teams.
  • Growth mindset & demonstrated practice of continuous learning and curiosity.
  • Demonstrated experience leading innovation - continually seeking innovative approaches and raising the bar on existing processes and deliverables.
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business, Data Analytics, or related discipline.
  • PMP or related professional certification an asset.

Total Compensation Package

Expected Hiring Salary Range: $132,767.00 – $165,958.00; with the ability to progress to a maximum of $190,853.00. To ensure fair and equitable pay at SickKids Foundation, placement on the salary range will be based on your years of experience, skills, and qualifications relevant to the Director, Marketing Operations.

Hours: Hybrid work model: minimum two days per week in-office (Tuesday and Wednesday).
