Position Overview
Acura of Langleyis seeking aService Drive****Associateto join our dynamic sales team. Reporting to the Sales Manager, this role is essential in supporting dealership operations by conducting accurate vehicle appraisals, engaging with customers, and connecting qualified leads to the sales team.
The Service Drive Associate will represent Dilawri’s commitment to exceptional guest experience, product expertise, and a collaborative team culture.
This is a Commission Based position.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities

Follow up on all sales leads from various sources to maximize opportunity and support departmental growth.

Engage with customers in the service drive to identify potential trade‑in and upgrade opportunities.

Conduct accurate vehicle walk‑arounds and appraisals using dealership-approved tools and guidelines.
-
Qualify interested customers and seamlessly assign them to appropriate sales consultants for follow-up and closing.
-
Deliver a superior customer experience by understanding client needs, presenting solutions, and ensuring high satisfaction.
-
Maintain strong product and inventory knowledge for all vehicle models; participate in all ongoing product and appraisal training.

Promote new business opportunities through prospecting, customer outreach, and referral networks.
-
Build and maintain rapport with customers to support long-term relationships and dealership loyalty.
-
Demonstrate effective negotiation skills to support successful sales outcomes and maximize trade‑in opportunities.
-
Accurately maintain customer, appraisal, and sales records using computerized systems.
-
Set monthly sales and productivity goals and develop actionable plans to meet or exceed them.
-
Adapt quickly to new sales processes, service-drive flow, and market changes within the automotive industry.
-
Collaborate effectively with both Sales and Service teams to enhance the customer journey and drive department performance.
-
Follow through on all leads—both sales floor and service drive—to ensure timely closing of opportunities.

Uphold high levels of professionalism, work ethic, punctuality, and reliability.
Qualifications Required
-
Strong customer service skills with excellent verbal and written communication.
-
Proven ability to negotiate, make sound decisions, and close sales effectively.
-
Ability to build and maintain positive customer relationships.
-
High level of initiative with a self‑starter, outgoing, and positive attitude.
-
Strong organizational and procedural skills; ability to meet deadlines.
-
Quick adaptability to new processes and industry developments.
-
Competent computer skills, including Internet applications and MS Office.
-
Vehicle product knowledge is an asset; manufacturer training is provided.
-
Previous automotive sales experience is an asset.
-
Valid VSA License.
-
Valid British Columbia Driver’s License and a current ICBC Driver’s Abstract.
-
Legally entitled to work in Canada.
