YOUR IMPACTA Data Analyst, PS Market Insights role at OpenText is more than just a job, it's an opportunity to impact lives. As a key contributor, you'll be instrumental supporting OpenText’s Professional Services leadership and Demand Hub teams. This role is responsible for transforming complex data from multiple sources—including Salesforce, Tableau, and other business systems—into actionable insights that drive demand generation, sales play targeting, and portfolio performance measurement. The ideal candidate is a data-driven problem solver with a strong understanding of the Professional Services business model, enterprise software sales motions, and data visualization best practices.
WHAT THE ROLE OFFERSData Analytics& Insights• Designing and implementing data collection, integration, and transformation strategies across Salesforce, Tableau, Power BI, and SQL-based sources.• Building automated dashboards and performance reports to measure the effectiveness of Professional Services sales plays, campaigns, and outreach activities.• Analyzing sales funnel trends, conversion rates, and attach rates to identify new demand-generation opportunities.
Sales& Marketing Support• Partnering with the Demand Hub leadership to identify high-value customer targets for Professional Services outreach.• Creating data-driven customer segmentation models and prioritization lists for Sales Play execution.• Supporting the development and tracking of campaigns aligned to key Professional Services offerings.
Portfolio& Executive Reporting• Developing dashboards and scorecards to measure performance across the Professional Services portfolio, including bookings, pipeline velocity, and campaign effectiveness.• Providing insights and visual storytelling support for executive presentations to highlight progress on growth initiatives, outreach efforts, and sales play performance.• Maintaining high data accuracy and consistency across platforms, ensuring alignment with corporate reporting standards.
Automation& Data Quality• Automating recurring data refreshes and visualization pipelines to minimize manual work and ensure timely insights delivery.• Ensuring data integrity, documentation, and metadata management across all analytics assets.
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED• 5+ years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or sales operations roles within enterprise software or professional services organizations.• Proven ability to query, clean, and model data using SQL and integrate it across multiple sources.• Advanced experience with Tableau, Power BI, and Salesforce reporting.• Strong understanding of the Professional Services business model, pipeline management, and sales operations processes.• Ability to translate data into compelling business insights and visual narratives for executive stakeholders.• Experience in designing scalable dashboards and automations for performance reporting.• Bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics, Data Science, Economics, Computer Science or related field.
Success will be measured by• Accuracy and timeliness of reporting and dashboards delivered to leadership.• Growth in qualified leads and conversion rates from Sales Play campaigns.• Increased data-driven decision-making by Professional Services and Demand Hub teams.• Efficiency gains through automation and reduction of manual reporting effort.
