Votre impact
- Soutenir les stratégies d’engagement auprès des gouvernements, associations commerciales et milieux universitaires.
- Diriger la collaboration visant à élaborer et harmoniser un plan d’engagement stratégique avec les communautés autochtones.
- Établir des relations avec les gouvernements, organisations et membres de communautés autochtones.
- Suivre et communiquer les progrès liés au recrutement autochtone et aux partenariats avec des entreprises autochtones.
- Assurer la conformité aux ententes de financement gouvernementales et aux exigences linguistiques du Québec.
- Travailler en étroite collaboration avec les équipes internes et l’équipe Communications et Relations gouvernementales de l’Amérique du Nord.
- Fournir des analyses informant les stratégies de mobilisation nationales et régionales.
- Promouvoir les initiatives alignées sur les engagements de réconciliation de Hitachi Energy.
Votre profil
- Baccalauréat et minimum de 5 ans d’expérience dans un domaine connexe.
- Expérience démontrée en collaboration avec divers groupes de parties prenantes pour obtenir des résultats.
- Connaissance des initiatives de réconciliation avec les peuples autochtones.
- Maîtrise du français et de l’anglais pour communiquer efficacement dans divers contextes et comprendre des documents techniques, réglementaires ou politiques.
- Expérience dans les secteurs de l’énergie, de la fabrication ou de la gestion de projets (un atout).
- Expérience en milieu corporatif et en relations gouvernementales ou institutionnelles (un atout).

How You’ll Make an Impact
- Support engagement strategies with governments, trade and business associations, and academic partners.
- Lead collaboration efforts to develop and align strategic Indigenous engagement plans.
- Build relationships with Indigenous governments, organizations, and community members.
- Track progress and report on initiatives that strengthen Indigenous hiring and procurement.
- Ensure compliance with government funding agreements and Québec French‑language requirements.
- Work closely with internal teams and the North American Communications & Government Relations group to advance key priorities.
- Provide insights that inform national and regional stakeholder strategies.
- Champion initiatives aligned with Hitachi Energy’s reconciliation commitments.
Your Background
- Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 5 years of experience in a related field.
- Proven success collaborating across diverse stakeholder groups to achieve results.
- Knowledge of Indigenous reconciliation initiatives and related best practices.
- Fluency in French and English, with the ability to communicate across local, national, and global contexts and interpret technical/policy materials.
- Experience in energy, manufacturing, or project management is an asset.
- Experience in corporate environments and government/institutional relations is a plus.
