Shift: Mon-Fri; 8:00am-3:00pm
SUMMARY
The Cold Storage Administrator is responsible for high level administrative tasks including billing, inventory balances, assorted documentation, and customer service inquiries for Erb Cold Storage.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible to understand the business of Erb Cold Storage and operate the computer inventory and billing systems. (Abecus/Solomon)
- Answer customer inquiries regarding cold storage business. Resolve any billing and/or inventory discrepancies with customer.
- Invoice bills from system with appropriate billing rates. Create weekly and monthly billing cycles.
- Compile daily transactions and report weekly statistics to Erb Cold Storage management.
- Create and maintain customer accounts.
- Complete required paperwork for inventory and any incoming and outgoing loads.
- Generate receiving and shipping labels for the cold storage warehouse staff.
- Maintain Cold Storage customer accounts to ensure all information for various functions is accurate.
- Ensure ongoing communication with other Erb divisions is maintained regarding service issues and customer accounts.
- Assist in developing and maintaining department standard operating procedures (SOP).
- Provide training and support to Cold Storage employees in regard to Solomon, Abecus and SOP’s.
- All other duties as required.
REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS
- Previous experience in a warehouse environment preferred.
- Microsoft Office Suite experience required, AS400 experience preferred.
- Strong attention to detail skills required.
- Proven customer service and conflict resolution skills required.
- Commitment to customer satisfaction and customer focused.
- Invoicing, billing experience is considered an asset.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Ability to work as a team.
