About the role

Role Summary:

The Treasury / Capital Markets Trading Support Analyst provides 1st and 2nd line support for a live trading environment supporting Treasury and Capital Markets product lines. The role partners closely with trading, operations, technology, and external/internal vendors to ensure platform stability, accurate instrument pricing, and timely resolution of production issues across key front-office trading systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver Level 1 & Level 2 “trade floor” support for Treasury and Capital Markets trading activities, ensuring availability and responsiveness in a high-pressure environment.
  • Support trading products including Commercial Paper, Bonds, Loans & Deposits, and Swaps, maintaining continuity of front-office operations.
  • Provide functional and technical support for Treasury trading applications including Kondor+ (Kondor+ USA or similar), Orchestrade, internal banking applications, and Control-M (or equivalent scheduling tool).
  • Troubleshoot and resolve production incidents and user queries, including:
    • Ensuring correct pricing of instruments and resolving valuation discrepancies.
    • Investigating and addressing STP (Straight-Through Processing) breaks and workflow exceptions.
    • Administering platforms in coordination with internal and external providers/vendors (access, configuration, entitlements, and operational readiness).
  • Manage customer relationships while engaging directly with internal and external users, maintaining strong service quality and adherence to SLAs.
  • Liaise with developers and cross-functional teams to:
    • Analyze recurring issues and propose preventive fixes.
    • Support incident triage, root-cause analysis, and post-incident documentation.
  • Contribute to project delivery activities (as needed), including:
    • Assisting with timely project execution and coordination with project managers.
    • Performing testing for new releases, including writing test scripts and validating enhancements in line with business requirements.
    • Tracking time/resources and maintaining high-quality operational and project documentation.
  • Participate in a 24x7 on-call rota as required to support global users and ensure continuity of service.
  • Ensure compliance with all internal policies, procedures, and operational controls.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 2-3 years of experience in the financial services industry, ideally supporting a live trading environment.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting Fixed Income desks within an investment banking or capital markets setting.
  • Strong understanding of financial markets and products, particularly Fixed Income & Rates.
  • Proven ability to work effectively with both project teams and end users, including client-facing stakeholders.
  • Strong client service orientation with disciplined execution against deadlines and SLAs.
  • Working knowledge of Capital Markets systems and products.

Technical Requirements:

  • Unix / Linux, SQL.
  • Kondor+ (mandatory); Orchestrade (nice to have).
  • Familiarity with job scheduling tools such as Control-M or similar.

Working Conditions / Additional Details:

  • Contract term referenced as 12 months initially, with start date ASAP.
  • Language requirement: Fluent English; French is a plus.
  • Holiday calendar aligned to USA - New York.
  • Participation in on-call support for a global user base.
