Job Posting Description: This is an onsite role [ ] Are you a results-driven professional with a passion for asset management, financial analysis, system optimization, and continuous improvement? Reporting to the Senior Manager, Fixed Assets and Project Accounting, the Senior Financial Analyst (Fixed Assets and Project Accounting) plays a critical role in managing the lifecycle of capital assets, supporting project accounting, and driving strategic financial planning. This role actively identifies opportunities to streamline processes, enhance reporting accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and internal policies, and enhance system functionality through automation and testing. With a focus on accuracy, efficiency, and compliance, you’ll help drive impactful improvements across financial operations.

About The Role
- Leverage advanced analytics to deliver actionable insights and drive data-informed decision-making.
- Build and maintain robust financial models to support strategic initiatives and business cases.
- Lead forecasting and budgeting cycles with precision to guide long-term financial planning.
- Identify and implement process enhancements that optimize efficiency and strengthen financial operations.
- Manage cross-functional projects, integrating systems to improve operational efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with payroll legislation and collective agreements through detailed auditing and reconciliation.
- Participate in system upgrades, testing cycles, and implementation of new automated solutions.
- Perform additional duties as required to support operations.
About You
- Post-secondary education in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent work experience.
- CPA designation is preferred.
- 4–6 years of experience in financial reporting, fixed assets, or project accounting.
- Strong analytical skills with experience in asset lifecycle management and project tracking (capex and opex).
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word; experience with SAP system and Power BI is a strong asset.
- Demonstrated success in leading system enhancements, automating workflows, and resolving complex accounting issues.
- Experience with system implementation, including test script development, testing tools, and documentation.
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Adaptable, self-motivated, and capable of building and sustaining strong business relationships.
