About the role
Alstar Group of Companies Ltd. has been providing quality construction services to the oil & gas industry since 1969. Located in Calgary & Leduc with projects throughout Western Canada, we are a leader in the industry for turn-key new construction, maintenance and prefabrication.
We are looking for Journeyman Pipefitter (Shop) for our SE Calgary location (not transit accessible) for our Mod Yard and Spooling departments.

What we’re looking for from you – If this describes you, we’d love to meet!
- Journeyman pipefitter certification
- CSTS-20/CSO, WHMIS 2015 and Fall Protection
- Oil and gas experience needed, comfortable working in all weather conditions

Alstar specializes in facility construction, prefabrication and field installation. With capabilities for both small and large scale projects across western Canada, we can complete major projects in compressed timeframes by prefabricating in our Calgary, Hinton and Fort St. John facilities with a combined total of 135,000 sq ft. of shop space. Alstar has a well developed project services team with project controls, project management and estimating to support your project from start to finish.
