About the role
Volunteer Position Applications will remain open until a competitive candidate pool is established. The closing date will be determined based on the volume and quality of received applications . Time Commitment and Remuneration November 2025 to April 2026.

Position(s) Year Reprsentatives (1st-4th)
- Be the voice of first-year students! Share ideas, bring feedback to the council, and help new students get involved in the department.
 - Represent your year, share student perspectives, and help plan fun events that connect!
 
Merch Coordinator x1
- Design, organize, and oversee sales of department merchandise. Manage orders, payments, and distribution logistics.
 
Logistics Coordinator x2
- Handle event planning details such as room bookings, equipment setup, and scheduling. Ensure smooth execution of all events.
 
Events Coordinator x3
- Brainstorm, plan, and execute student events that build community and engagement within the department.
 
Internal Events Coordinator x 1
- Focus on department-exclusive events like study sessions, socials, and networking mixers to strengthen student connections.
 
Marketing and social media director
- Lead the council’s communications strategy. Manage social media accounts, create promotional content, and oversee branding.
 
Marketing and social media executive
- Support the marketing and social media director in creating posts, taking event photos, and promoting initiatives online.
 
Finance coordinator x1
- Manage the council’s budget, track spending, and assist with financial planning for events and merchandise.
 
Sponsorship and outreach x 1
- Build partnerships with local organizations, research sponsorships, and promote collaboration between students and the community
