  • lead interdepartmental offsite civil drawing reviews for complex sites and collaborate with internal teams;

  • support development proposals from design through construction and warranty, facilitating timely issue resolution and clear communication;

  • prepare and review legal agreements, such as the servicing agreement, to facilitate developments, secure financial deposits, oversee project accounts and close-out procedures;

  • coordinate utility servicing with City Operations, public realm and streetscape delivery, and the City Arborist;

  • support construction management of offsite work, and confirm completion to City standards;

  • contribute to updates of engineering policies, design standards, and procedures to support continuous improvement;

  • perform related duties as required.

Along with a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline, you will have:

  • registration as a Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) in good standing:

  • a strong understanding of subdivision processes, municipal servicing standards, and development engineering best practices;

  • proficiency in reviewing engineering drawings, stormwater plans, and legal documents;

  • familiarity with CNV bylaws and systems such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, AMANDA, and Infor Public Sector.

During the recruitment process, applicants will be requested to provide a current Police Information Check (PIC).

We offer an attractive remuneration and benefits package for this exempt position, including a compressed work schedule. The salary range is $119,964 to $141,132 annually, (2024 rates) currently under review. Salary offered will be commensurate with education, experience and internal parity.
