About the role

Are you ready to make a significant impact in the world of procurement? As a Senior Procurement Analyst focusing on Travel, Meetings & Events, you'll be at the forefront of managing and embedding the Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) process within this dynamic category. Your role will involve coordinating supplier issue resolutions, conducting performance reviews, and ensuring the SRM framework is consistently applied. You'll also lead analytics and reporting efforts, transforming data into actionable insights that drive category strategy and decision-making. Collaborating closely with internal teams, you'll ensure procurement data and supplier strategies are clearly understood and effectively implemented. This position supports the head of the team and global category manager for Meetings & Events, with potential expansion into the travel category. Are you up for the challenge?

Accountabilities:

Supplier Relationship Management

  • Manage and coordinate the Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) framework across key suppliers within the category.
  • Schedule, prepare and facilitate supplier performance reviews (QBRs/MBRs), ensuring appropriate metrics and insights are available.
  • Track supplier performance against agreed KPIs, SLAs and contractual commitments.
  • Maintain supplier performance scorecards and ensure actions and improvement plans are followed through.
  • Act as the operational point of contact for supplier performance management and escalation tracking.
  • Support the category manager and lead in identifying opportunities to improve supplier performance, service quality and value delivery.

Analytics & Reporting Skill

  • Manage and coordinate the centralised analytics and reporting for the categories working with the appropriate existing frameworks, data sources and analytics & insights team.
  • Act as the analytics lead for the category, consolidating and analysing procurement, travel, and meetings & events data.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards and reporting that provide a clear, consolidated view of category performance, spend and savings inline with the procurement global standards.
  • Ensure data accuracy and consistency across multiple data sources and reporting tools.
  • Translate complex data into clear insights to support category strategy, cost optimisation and supplier management decisions.
  • Support savings tracking, benefits validation and reporting against category targets.

Stakeholder Engagement & Support

  • Partner with internal stakeholders to understand operational needs and provide data-driven insights that support decision-making.
  • Support communication of supplier performance, category insights and reporting to key stakeholders.
  • Help drive adoption of procurement processes, tools and supplier governance frameworks.
  • Act as a liaison between the category team, suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure transparency and alignment.

Continuous Improvement

  • Identify opportunities to improve reporting, analytics, and supplier performance management processes.
  • Support automation and simplification of reporting and data processes where possible.
  • Contribute to the development of category insights that inform longer-term strategy and supplier engagement.

Essential Skills/Experience:

  • Meetings & events
  • Degree level or equivalent
  • Experience of procurement
  • Strong communication and influencing skills
  • Proved ability to manage multiple projects/tasks effectively
  • Demonstrated success working in a team environment
  • Strong analytical and financial skills
  • Project and people management

Desirable Skills/Experience:

  • COUPA
  • PowerBi
  • Travel category experience
