Job Description
The Bilingual Business Development Manager will play a key role in growing Avendra’s FF&E program (Furniture, Fixtures & Equipment) by developing new business opportunities and managing client accounts across all Aramark Lines of Business. With a focus on building strong relationships and driving adoption of FF&E solutions, this role engages prospects and clients in both French and English to accelerate growth. While procurement best practices and strategic sourcing initiatives provide the framework, the primary emphasis is on business development and account management to expand this priority category.
Job Responsibilities
- Proactively source and generate new leads through outreach, building relationships with key accounts internally, networking, referrals, and digital channels.
- Build and manage a strong pipeline of qualified opportunities in CRM with clear next steps.
- Conduct discovery meetings and deliver tailored presentations that address client priorities.
- Prepare and issue quotations; coordinate revisions, approvals, and follow-through to signature.
- Support PO creation and onboarding to ensure accurate and timely contract launches.
- Develop and execute social media and digital content strategies to attract and engage prospects.
- Collaborate with internal teams to shape proposals, pricing, and client-facing materials.
- Represent Aramark at targeted events, trade shows, and industry associations to build visibility.
- Provide accurate forecasts and weekly pipeline updates tied to KPIs.
- Close new business consistently by applying disciplined sales habits and strong follow-up.
Qualifications
- Bilingual – English & French (written and verbal).
- 5+ years of business development, account management or sales experience in B2B services preferably.
- Demonstrated success in lead generation and building pipeline independently.
- Strong knowledge of digital channels, especially LinkedIn and social media, for prospecting.
- Experience preparing quotes, managing purchase orders, and coordinating client onboarding.
- Skilled at presentations, negotiations, and building relationships with senior decision-makers.
- Comfortable with CRM systems (Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar) and disciplined in tracking activities.
- Results-driven with a structured approach to prospecting, follow-up, and closing.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage multi-stakeholder decision groups.
- Knowledge of foodservice, facilities, healthcare, education, or hospitality sectors considered an asset.
