About the Role
eHealth Saskatchewan is looking for a talented and driven Infrastructure Analyst II to join our Systems Operations South team. Reporting to the Manager, this role plays a critical part in supporting IT services for health partners across the province. You’ll be responsible for managing existing infrastructure and contributing to the design of future-state solutions. From creating application packages to writing process documentation, your work will help shape the digital backbone of Saskatchewan’s healthcare system.

This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment, takes pride in delivering high-quality service, and enjoys solving complex technical challenges with precision and care.

What You’ll Do

  • Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance system efficiency

  • Troubleshoot and resolve medium to complex infrastructure issues

  • Manage and execute infrastructure changes with moderate complexity

  • Monitor and fine-tune systems for optimal performance

  • Conduct regular compliance reviews of infrastructure systems

  • Maintain software licensing and support agreements

  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation libraries

  • Mentor team members and contribute to knowledge sharing

  • Prepare status reports and manage issue escalations

  • Streamline application intake processes

What You’ll Bring to the Team

  • Strong knowledge of Windows Server/Desktop Administration, Application Management, Virtualization, Change Management, Group Policy & Active Directory

  • Experience in SCCM/MECM, VMware Horizon, App Volumes, Zero/Thin Client Management, DNS/DHCP, Microsoft 365, security systems, server administration , Active directory admin, and Saskatchewan’s Health IT landscape

  • Post-secondary diploma or higher in Computer Science or related field, with 3+ years of infrastructure support experience (or equivalent)

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills

  • Highly organized, adaptable, and able to prioritize in fast-paced environments

  • Detail-oriented with a strong sense of ownership and accountability

  • Service-focused and empathetic, especially when working with sensitive health data

  • Creative and improvement-driven mindset

  • Diplomatic and tactful in stakeholder interactions
