###Job Description
In Motion & Momentum+ (IM&M+) is a 10-week, pre-employability program designed by the Canadian Career Development Foundation (CCDF). The program supports individuals facing complex barriers to employment such as long-term unemployment, poverty, trauma, mental health challenges, low confidence, limited education, or systemic exclusion. The program will be delivered in three progressive modules. IM&M+ takes a readiness-first approach, helping participants build motivation, confidence, and resilience before moving toward employment or training. As part of a team, hybrid workshops will be facilitated for the IM&M+ program within the YWCA BC WorkBC catchments – Vancouver South, North Vancouver and Tri-Cities, each catchment will have a two-person team to facilitate two cycles of the program.
What you’ll be doing:

Participate in a one-week IM&M+ training provided through CCDF from April 13th – 17th
-
Facilitate IM&M+ workshops in-person and online, utilizing developed curriculum and modules through CCDF
-
Work as part of a team within the YWCA WorkBC team and with the wider IM&M+ community of practice through CCDF
-
Recruit and assess participants for the program
-
Provide one-to-one support where needed with clients in person and online, including working with case managers and wider WorkBC services
-
Maintain up-to-date information on labour market trends, job postings, employment issues, community resources, education planning, volunteer opportunities, and other relevant employment-related supports as part of the WorkBC team
-
Maintain accurate notes and records as per policy

Other duties as required
What you’ll need:
-
Relevant post-secondary education, minimum of two years of experience working in a related field, or a combination of education and/or experience
-
Passion for working with clients to achieve their employment goals, including supporting people with multiple barriers
-
Excellent computer and administrative skills
-
Current knowledge of the local labour market as well as community resources in Metro Vancouver
-
Knowledge and experience providing employment counselling an asset
-
Strong team player and able to show initiative
-
Ability to work in a flexible environment and relate well with others
-
A valid clear criminal record check (including working with vulnerable populations) is required
